This is a drop spool unit which would be perfect for anyone who is running a lot of extended bottom hole pressure/temperature surveys or even just gradient surveys.
It is closed loop (no transmission) so it is very easy to operate. With this feature it can be set to go wide open when thrown in gear for jarring then ease back to jar again or come on out of the hole without having to stop to change gears. When swabbing, this feature gives you complete control while surfacing with a load of fluid. The line pull limit functions well. This unit can be set to maintain various steady speeds.
This unit works best at depths to 12,000’ but has done fishing and broaching jobs as deep as 15,500’.
